Treats & things

Like any little child, Reggie was spoiled rotten! Visits to various pet shops always ended with a bunch of new toys and treats for him. A lot of the time he would check out the new item and not be interested in it (usually the most expensive thing), but sometimes he really loved his new treat.

Below are some photos of treats he had over the years. Unfortunately not all were captured in photos.

Here he is with a biscuit treat that is shaped like a carrot

This is a crocodile 'chew' toy he found in my handbag - he didn't like this treat.

mmmmm... the yummy, sticky carrot log - which he loved!

And then there was Dr Squiggles. Dr Squiggles is a supplementary drink for small animals. It is filled with vitamins and minerals. Reggie used to get some maybe once a week or if he was feeling a bit under the weather. He loved it! He would drink it by scooping it up in his hands and drinking out his hands, and sometimes he would wash his head in it. He just loved it!

Another great buy was herbal 'toothbrushes'. These are wooden sticks with herbal bits stuck to one end of peppermint, wheatgrass and yarrow. Good for freshening breath and for keeping teeth filed down.

I loved it because it would keep Reggie occupied for a good while so that I could do something else.

Here he is running off with one that I've just given him so that he can eat it in peace in his travel case which I left on the floor for him
